Hijas del Mar emerges as a platform through which knowledge and experiences of surfing are shared from a perspective of safety, sisterhood, equality, teamwork, and always a positive vibe.
We help young girls in vulnerable situations, who live on the Salvadoran coast, providing them with surf equipment and surf skate practices. This allows them to get out of their traditional routines, so they can see the outside world and have new opportunities to grow through surfing.
Get Involve
We are hosting Surf Trips in El Salvador that allow you to connect with the Hija’s del Mar and participate in our activities where we will share experiences, surf together, talk about surfing, share stories between woman of different cultures. Telling our histories can help others to relate and have a bridge of understanding. Remember, surfing with a pack of men is never going to be the same, surfing with a collective of girls and women is our dream for the next generation.
